First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested three different ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (sacral erector spinae, pericapsular, and lumbar plexus) to see which provides the best pain relief after hip surgery. 75 adults aged 18-75 participated. The main goal was to measure how much morphine patients needed in the first 24 hours after surgery, along with pain scores and any side effects.
