Summary
This study tested two common drugs, lidocaine and magnesium sulfate, to see which one works better for pain after gallbladder removal surgery. 168 adults were randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs during surgery, and their pain levels were checked at several points over the first 24 hours. The goal was to find a better way to manage pain after this common procedure.
