Summary

This study compared three different methods for managing pain after back surgery. Researchers tested ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and local anesthetic injections in 75 adults undergoing elective lumbar spine surgery. The goal was to see which method best reduced pain and decreased the need for morphine pain medication after the operation.
