New nerve cap aims to stop phantom pain after finger loss

Summary
This study tests a device called the Tulavi Allay™ Nerve Cap, placed on cut nerve endings during finger amputation surgery, to prevent painful neuromas and chronic pain. About 20 adults who recently lost a finger due to injury will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the cap reduces pain and improves daily life compared to standard care.
