Summary
This study tested whether a specific nerve block (external oblique intercostal plane block) can reduce the amount of strong pain medicine (opioids) needed during gallbladder removal surgery. 80 adults having elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy participated. The goal was to see if the block leads to better pain control and faster recovery.
