First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a new approach for people with long-term low back pain. Participants took a 1-hour class to understand how pain works, then did 30 minutes of exercise using virtual reality. The goal was to see if this combination could lower pain intensity, reduce fear of movement, and improve daily life. 40 adults took part, and the results may offer a drug-free way to manage chronic back pain.
