Can rethinking pain ease carpal tunnel symptoms?
NCT ID NCT07302282
Summary
This study is testing if teaching patients about how pain works in the nervous system can help reduce symptoms of mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Researchers will compare standard care (home exercises and a wrist splint) to the same care plus this special pain education. They aim to see if the education helps relieve pain and numbness better, using both patient questionnaires and objective tests like ultrasound.
