Summary
This study tested whether a long-acting numbing medicine (liposomal bupivacaine) can better control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers after skin graft surgery. 74 burn patients with small injuries took part. Researchers compared pain scores and opioid use between those who received the new medicine and those who received standard lidocaine.
