Summary

This study tested a smartphone app called Pain Buddy, designed to help children with cancer manage pain and other symptoms while receiving outpatient chemotherapy. The app allowed kids to track their symptoms daily and provided coping skills training. Researchers aimed to see if using the app could reduce symptom distress and improve quality of life for children aged 8 to 18.
