First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a nerve block at the start or end of keyhole lung surgery (VATS) reduces pain and the need for strong painkillers afterward. About 140 adults having planned VATS will be randomly assigned to one of two timing groups. The goal is to find the best way to manage pain and speed up recovery after surgery.
