First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 60 adults having laparoscopic upper abdominal surgery to compare two methods of giving a pain-relieving nerve block: one guided by ultrasound and the other guided by the surgery camera. The goal was to see which method provides better pain control and reduces the need for extra painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery. Results will help doctors choose the best approach for managing post-surgery pain.
