Summary
This study looked at 86 children aged 1 to 7 having hypospadias repair. Researchers compared two types of pain blocks given during surgery: a sacral erector spinae plane block and a caudal epidural block. They measured pain levels using a special scale at several times over the first 24 hours after surgery to see which method provided better pain control.
