Which pain block works best for hip surgery? new study aims to find out

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (SFIB and PENG) to see which one provides better pain relief after hip replacement surgery. Sixty adults having hip surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks. The main goal is to measure how much morphine they need for pain in the first 24 hours after surgery.
