New nerve block tested to reduce pain after common hernia surgery

Summary
This study aims to find which of two nerve-blocking techniques works better for pain relief after inguinal hernia repair surgery. Researchers will compare a newer method called the Quadro-iliac Plane Block against a more established Transversus Abdominis Plane Block. The study involves 60 adults undergoing hernia surgery, measuring their pain levels and recovery quality for 24 hours after their operation.
