New nerve blocks battle Post-Surgery pain, aim to cut opioid use

NCT ID NCT07362472

Summary

This study compared two different types of nerve-block injections to see which one better controls pain after major breast cancer surgery. Researchers tested the methods on 60 women to see which one led to less pain and lower use of morphine painkillers in the first day after their operation. The goal was to find the most effective way to manage post-surgical pain.
