Dual-Drug attack on deadly lung pressure in High-Risk heart patients

NCT ID NCT07245680

Summary

This study compares starting treatment with two oral medications versus one medication for people newly diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) who also have at least two other heart-related conditions like high blood pressure or diabetes. It aims to find the safest and most effective treatment approach for this high-risk group, which is often excluded from research. About 186 participants in France will be randomly assigned to receive either the two-drug combination or a single drug plus a placebo for 6 months.
