New antibody drugs aim to block deadly clots in leg artery patients

Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs, REGN7508 and REGN9933, to see if they can prevent life-threatening blood clots in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD) who recently had leg surgery to improve blood flow. About 7,050 adults will be randomly assigned to receive one of the study drugs, a standard blood thinner (rivaroxaban), or a placebo. The goal is to find a safer and more effective way to reduce clots like heart attacks, strokes, and limb loss.
