New combo may open door to transplant for advanced blood cancer patients

NCT ID NCT07148947

First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding the drug pacritinib to standard chemotherapy (azacitidine or decitabine) can help more people with advanced myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) become eligible for a stem cell transplant. About 27 adults with accelerated or blast-phase MPN will receive the combination as a 'bridge' to transplant. The main goal is to see how many patients can successfully proceed to transplant.
