New hope for advanced breast cancer: triple drug combo tested

Summary
This study tests three drug combinations for people with a common type of advanced breast cancer (ER+/HER2-). The goal is to see if adding palbociclib or both palbociclib and avelumab to fulvestrant can help control the cancer longer. About 220 participants who have already received endocrine therapy will be randomly assigned to one of the three groups.
