New asthma inhaler begins human safety testing

NCT ID NCT06916273

Summary

This was an early safety study for a new inhaled steroid medication called PA9159, intended for future use in asthma. The study tested single and repeated doses in 40 healthy Chinese adults to see how their bodies handled the drug and to check for any side effects. The main goal was to find the highest dose that could be given safely.
