Ozone oil tested to soothe cancer Patients' painful mouth sores

NCT ID NCT07247799

Summary

This study looked back at whether ozone therapy could help patients with painful mouth sores caused by radiation or chemotherapy for head and neck cancer. Thirty-eight patients received professional ozone treatments and used a special ozonated oil at home. Researchers measured if this reduced the severity of the sores, eased pain, and helped patients eat and care for their mouths more comfortably.
