Summary
This study tested whether adding ozone gas to standard gum surgery helps wounds heal faster. Twenty-four people with gum overgrowth from inflammation had surgery on both sides of their mouth—one side got ozone, the other didn't. Researchers checked healing using cell samples and gum measurements over 21 days.
