NCT ID NCT06605300
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at how two natural brain chemicals, oxytocin and vasopressin, change the way brain waves interact in 120 healthy adults. Participants received a nasal spray of one of the chemicals and then had their brain activity measured while resting or doing tasks. The goal was to understand how these hormones influence brain function, not to treat any disease.
