Summary
This study tests whether a nasal spray containing oxytocin (the 'love hormone') can improve sexual well-being in people with central diabetes insipidus, a condition that also causes oxytocin deficiency. About 42 participants—both patients and healthy volunteers—will receive either oxytocin or a placebo for a week (Part A) or a single dose (Part B) to measure changes in sexual satisfaction, arousal, and intimacy. The goal is to see if this hormone can ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
