Summary
This study tests whether a daily nasal spray of oxytocin can improve bone health in children with autism spectrum disorder, ages 6 to 18. About 96 children will receive either oxytocin or a placebo for 12 months, followed by 6 months where everyone gets oxytocin. The goal is to see if oxytocin helps increase bone density and strength.
