First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at two ways to give oxygen to obese patients (BMI 30 or higher) before they are put to sleep for surgery. One method uses a mask, the other adds a special nose tube. The goal is to see which keeps oxygen levels safer and reduces breathing problems. About 124 adults will take part.
