Summary

This study is testing whether a new high-flow oxygen device is better than standard nasal tubes at preventing dangerously low oxygen levels in patients during sedated digestive endoscopies. It focuses on adults at higher risk for breathing problems, such as those with obesity, sleep apnea, or lung disease. The goal is to see if this technology makes these common procedures safer by reducing episodes where patients struggle to breathe.
