Summary

This study is testing whether a newer type of oxygen delivery device is better than the standard nasal tubes at preventing dangerously low oxygen levels during sedated digestive endoscopies. It focuses on patients at higher risk for breathing problems, such as those with obesity, sleep apnea, or lung disease. Researchers will compare the two methods to see which one keeps patients safer during the procedure.
