Summary
This study aims to find out if breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber helps people with severe flesh-eating infections. Researchers will compare this oxygen treatment to standard care (surgery and antibiotics) to see if it reduces deaths and complications. They also want to know if getting surgery very quickly makes the oxygen treatment unnecessary.
