NCT ID NCT07538817
First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a noninvasive device called the Oxygen Reserve Index (ORI) to monitor oxygen levels during laparoscopic kidney surgery. The goal is to see if ORI can help doctors avoid giving too little or too much oxygen, which can be harmful. The study will involve 48 adults having elective laparoscopic nephrectomy, comparing low and normal gas flow anesthesia. Results may improve safety and reduce the need for invasive blood tests.
