First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looks at how the type of oxygen monitor and the target oxygen level affect the amount of oxygen given to ICU patients on high-flow nasal oxygen therapy. Researchers will test two different oximeters and two oxygen targets in 30 adults to see which combination leads to the best oxygen delivery. The goal is to improve monitoring and treatment for patients with acute respiratory failure.
