Can a puff of oxygen to the idle lung prevent surgery problems?

Summary
This study looks at two ways of giving oxygen to the lung that is not being used during lung surgery. The goal is to see if these methods lower inflammation, lung injury, and complications after surgery. About 177 adults having lung surgery will be randomly assigned to standard care, extra oxygen without pressure, or extra oxygen with gentle pressure. Researchers will track complications for 30 days after surgery.
