Doctors test if oxygen monitors give different readings, affecting patient care
NCT ID NCT05590130
Summary
This study aims to understand how two different brands of finger-tip oxygen monitors and two different target oxygen levels affect how much oxygen is given to patients. It will involve 40 adults recovering from heart surgery in an intensive care unit. Researchers will switch between monitors and targets to measure the resulting oxygen flow and check accuracy with blood tests.
