School program aims to close gap in teen weight management

Summary
This study tested whether giving extra support to less advantaged teens helps them manage overweight as well as standard care helps more advantaged teens. About 1,689 high school students took part. The approach included group sessions, motivational talks, cooking classes, and financial help for physical activity.
