Summary
This study looked at whether adding a new tumor marker called HE4 to the standard CA125 test can better tell if an ovarian cyst is benign or cancerous. Researchers tested 221 women scheduled for ovarian cyst surgery. The goal was to improve early diagnosis of ovarian cancer, which is often caught too late.
