New drug combo shows promise for recurrent ovarian cancer in early trial

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new drug (berzosertib) added to standard chemotherapy for women with ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer that has returned after initial treatment. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination works better than chemo alone. About 35 adults with metastatic disease are participating.
