Video may boost interest in ovarian cancer prevention surgery

Summary
This study tests whether watching an educational video can increase interest in a preventive surgery called opportunistic salpingectomy (removing the fallopian tubes) to lower ovarian cancer risk. About 266 women aged 45 or older who are at average risk and not planning future children will watch the video and answer questionnaires. The goal is to see how many choose the procedure after learning about it.
