Scientists hunt for clues to ovarian cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT07361471
First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some ovarian cancer patients respond well to platinum-based chemotherapy for years, while others do not respond at all. Researchers will compare the genetics, biology, and medical history of 55 patients from two groups: those whose cancer worsened during initial treatment and those who stayed cancer-free for at least 5 years after treatment. The goal is to find factors that could predict treatment response and guide future therapies.
