Summary
This study looks at whether first-time mothers who need to start labor can safely use a Foley catheter at home to prepare the cervix, instead of staying in the hospital. The goal is to see if this approach lowers the chance of needing a C-section and reduces health risks for both mother and baby. About 2,300 women will take part, and they must have a low-risk pregnancy and reliable transportation to the hospital.
