First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether teaching science outside for 5 weeks helps 5th and 6th graders (ages 10-12) learn better and feel more connected to nature, compared to learning indoors. About 1000 healthy children from schools in Montreal, Longueuil, and Laval will take part. Researchers will measure observation skills, connection to nature, eco-anxiety, and stress levels before and after the program.
