Summary

This study looks at whether teaching science outside helps children learn better and feel more connected to nature, while also reducing stress about the environment. About 1,000 healthy 5th and 6th graders from schools in Montreal, Longueuil, and Laval will take part. Some will have science lessons outdoors for 5 weeks, while others will learn indoors. Researchers will compare their observation skills, connection to nature, and stress levels.
