New ostomy seals aim to stop painful skin problems after surgery
NCT ID NCT07460323
Summary
This study will compare two different ostomy seals (rings) to see which one better protects the skin around a new stoma after surgery. It will involve 107 adults in the UK who recently had colostomy, ileostomy, or urostomy surgery. The main goal is to see if these seals can reduce painful skin problems like irritation, bleeding, and leakage.
