New ostomy seals aim to stop painful skin problems after surgery
NCT ID NCT07460323
Summary
This study will test two different ostomy seals (protective rings) in people who recently had ostomy surgery. Researchers want to see which seal works better at preventing skin irritation, bleeding, and leakage around the stoma. The study will enroll 107 adults in the UK who will start using the seals right after their surgery and be followed to track skin health and satisfaction.
