New study tests Surgery-First approach for bone cancer in arms and legs

Summary
This pilot study looks at 10 people with a new diagnosis of high-grade osteosarcoma in an arm or leg. Researchers want to see if removing the tumor with surgery before starting chemotherapy leads to better movement and quality of life. Patients and surgeons will fill out questionnaires at different times to track recovery and how well the limb works.
