New hope for tough bone cancers: experimental combo enters human trials
NCT ID NCT04833582
Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of a new drug called azenosertib (ZN-c3) when given with an existing chemotherapy drug, gemcitabine. It was for adults and teenagers (12+) whose osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, had returned or stopped responding to other treatments. The main goals were to find the right dose and see if the combination could help control the cancer.
