Summary

This study aims to understand how standard osteoporosis medications affect muscle health in older adults who have both osteoporosis and age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia). Researchers will measure changes in muscle mass, strength, and bone density in 20 participants over 65 who are already receiving osteoporosis treatment. The goal is to gather new information about the relationship between bone and muscle health.
