First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding osteopathic treatment (like gentle manipulation and massage) to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve movement in people with long-term neck pain. Forty adults with nonspecific neck pain for at least three months took part. One group got standard therapy plus osteopathic techniques, while the other got standard therapy alone. Results were measured after four weekly sessions.
