Hands-On therapy may ease stubborn neck pain
NCT ID NCT07260422
First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding osteopathic treatment—like gentle manipulation and massage—to standard physical therapy helps adults with long-term neck pain. Forty people with nonspecific neck pain were split into two groups: one got osteopathy plus physical therapy, the other got physical therapy alone. After four weekly sessions, researchers measured pain, function, and movement to see if the extra care made a difference.
