Summary
This pilot study tests whether gentle osteopathic manipulations can stimulate the vagus nerve in 80 people with stage 4 lung cancer. The goal is to improve heart rate variability, which is linked to better outcomes and less anxiety during chemotherapy. Researchers will measure changes in heart rate patterns right after the hands-on treatment.
