Summary
This early-phase study tested two experimental drug combinations (osimertinib plus alisertib or sapanisertib) in 37 adults with advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer that no longer responded to osimertinib alone. The main goals were to find the safest dose and see if the combinations could help control the cancer. Participants had stage IIIB or IV non-small cell lung cancer that could not be cured with standard treatments.
